FORT LAUDERDALE – Broward moms and dads are staying urged to converse with their young children about bringing weapons, true or not, to faculty.

On Thursday, 3 learners had weapons in their backpacks at 3 unique schools.

At Sea Castle Elementary in Miramar, a student had an airsoft weapon and at Gulfstream Academy of Hallandale Seaside K-8, a university student had a plastic handgun. A just about 12-inch decorative knife was observed on a university student at Falcon Cove Middle College in Weston.

College board member Daniel P. Foganholi posted photographs of the seized weapons on Twitter. He captioned the put up by expressing all required actions ought to be taken to produce a protected studying environment.
