F. Murray Abraham is apologizing following allegations of sexual misconduct led to his departure from the Apple Tv set+ present “Mythic Quest.”
“This is a sincere and deeply felt apology,” the actor mentioned in a statement issued Thursday. “Though never my intention to offend anybody, I instructed jokes, nothing extra, that upset some of my colleagues and as a final result misplaced a wonderful job with great people today. I have grown in my understanding from this expertise, and I hope they will forgive me.”
The apology arrives just after a report by Rolling Stone magazine that alleged Abraham was fired from the sequence subsequent two allegations of misconduct.
Lionsgate Television, which provides “Mythic Quest,” stated Thursday that it had no updates on a former statement it issued Monday: “We consider allegations of misconduct severely and look into them completely. As a issue of company plan, we do not comment on personnel steps.”
Abraham performed the character C.W. Longbottom on “Mythic Quest” throughout the show’s first two seasons, but he was not introduced back for the 3rd.
