MIAMI – So, what is actually in a name? A large amount, if we’re conversing about the naming rights for the home of the Miami Warmth in downtown Miami.

On Tuesday, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners accredited a naming rights settlement with Kaseya US LLC. The deal will involve $117,370,000 in payments to the county in excess of a 17-year time period.    

So the previous FTX Arena is now the Kaseya Heart. 

Kaseya US LLC. Kaseya is a global software program enterprise with 48,000 customers around the world. Their Miami headquarters has around 900 workers.  

The enterprise went by a huge vetting system of its financials in an effort to stay away from what happened with FTX.

“I figured out that some organizations do undesirable things. This is just not cryptocurrency, this is a business enterprise, just like FTX was meant to have been but sad to say that enterprise committed crimes, and often corporations do that, nonetheless, we never anticipate this enterprise to dedicate a criminal offense,” explained Commissioner Keyon Hardemon.
