MIAMI – Friday was an added specific St. Patrick’s Working day for a Miami-Dade County elementary college instructor who was singled out previously this year as Teacher of the Yr.
Don Clerveaux, a fifth grader science and social scientific tests teacher at Phyllis R. Miller Elementary University, got driving the wheel of his new blue Toyota immediately after Karla Hernandez-Mats, of the United Academics of Dade, handed him the keys.
“Celebrating the Trainer of the Calendar year is a tribute to their commitment to education and learning that evokes learners to reach their full opportunity and nurtures their academic and individual progress within the discovering environment,” she reported. “Mr. Clerveaux’s enthusiasm for educating goes over and above the classroom, leaving an indelible affect on his students’ lives and shaping the potential of our society.”

He was named 2024 Francisco R. Walker Trainer of the Yr Award past January.
