FORT LAUDERDALE – On Sunday much more than two thousand men and women will occur alongside one another for the Broward Heart Stroll.
The “I Wander To Help save Lives” campaign will support further educate the general public about the impact that heart disorder and stroke can bring about.
It also offers survivors an outlet to share their stories and encourage some others.
“It truly is these kinds of a terrific way to come to feel supported, the community comes out, other survivors appear out, and it truly is just so inspiring to hear everyone’s tale, no matter if it was themselves or somebody they are close to,” said Amelia Sofis, a survivor herself.
Sofis was identified with a congenital heart affliction when she was a teenager. She attributes her good wellness currently to her mother and father and the medical practitioners that helped her.
