MIAMI — Police are inquiring for the public’s aid to uncover mask-sporting suspects who were being caught on digital camera thieving from a Macy’s in west Hialeah past weekend though the division retail outlet was closed.

Officials reported the burglars bought absent with about $500,000 in merchandise. 

The suspects assumed they experienced deactivated the surveillance cameras at the retail outlet, positioned at 1777 W. 49th Avenue, when they broke into the retail store Saturday morning but they had not.

“They disabled the alarm method, they broke all the digital camera methods,” reported Sgt. Jose Torres. “The good news is, our detectives were able to go in with the help of the retail store and recovered some of the video clip surveillance.”

Investigators explained a fourth person waited outdoors in a car to act as the getaway driver.

Torres reported the suspects entered by way of the back door of the shop and were being inside of the spot for several hours.

“As soon as inside of they collected various items to include things like jewelry, perfumes, colognes,” Torres said.
