FORT LAUDERDALE — The Pembroke Pines Police Department on Sunday produced information about the providers that will be held to honor fallen Officer Charles Herring, which will include things like a general public memorial.

The veteran 54-calendar year-aged motorbike officer died whilst in the line of responsibility immediately after he wrecked on Thursday on NW 184th Avenue, just south of Sheridan Road.
Herring was rushed for therapy to Memorial Regional Clinic, in which he later died.
Officials mentioned Herring experienced been with Pembroke Pines law enforcement for for 22 years and was the father of 4 young children. His little ones and ex-wife ended up with him at the hospital.
In accordance to a written assertion by Pembroke Pines law enforcement, memorial arrangements include:
- Sunday, Feb. 19: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A private viewing will be held and is confined to loved ones, buddies, the extended Pembroke Pines
Police Division, Pembroke Pines Fireplace Section and Town of Pembroke Pines household, and other people individually acknowledged or close to Charlie and his loved kinds at: Fred Hunters Funeral Home in Hollywood. - Monday, Feb. 20: 10 a.m. A private provider will be held and is minimal to family members, pals, prolonged Pembroke Pines Police Office, Pembroke Pines Fireplace Section, and City of Pembroke Pines family, and others personally recognized or near to Charlie and his loved ones at: St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Davie.
- Monday, Feb. 20: 1 p.m. General public complete honors funeral services at: Charles F. Dodge City Middle at 601 Town Middle Way in Pembroke Pines.
Herring was struck by a palm frond whilst on his motorbike and on duty, resulting in him to eliminate manage of his cycle and crash.
Quite a few colleagues, family members and friends collected Friday to attend a vigil for the fallen officer.
