FORT LAUDERDALE – The student accused of bringing a gun to William Dandy Center University in Fort Lauderdale has been arrested and billed.
Police said they acquired a contact at all around 3:30 p.m. Friday in reference to an person on faculty residence with a gun.
The school was promptly placed on code purple, and responding officers situated the 14-yr-old college student and a firearm.
There were no pictures fired and no injuries claimed, police mentioned.
Broward County Educational institutions suggests the university student did not make any threats toward any one in the school.
However, the student has been arrested and billed with charged with possession of firearm on university grounds as perfectly as carrying a hid firearm.
The college student has not been recognized.
CBS4 cameras caught the psychological reunion between college students and their awaiting mothers and fathers through dismissal.
“We had been so fearful,” claimed grandmother Ruby Matthews. “You don’t know that it transpires, till it transpires to you.”
