TALLAHASSEE – Gov. Ron DeSantis is providing state staff a handful of additional times off around the holiday seasons.
On Thursday, the governor introduced that state offices will be shut on Nov. 23, Dec. 23 and Dec. 30.
The condition had planned to close workplaces on Nov. 24, which is Thanksgiving, and Nov. 25. It also had planned to near places of work on Dec. 26 to mark Christmas and Jan. 2 to mark the New Year.
“Our condition employees have worked really hard in the course of the year, specifically around the previous number of months responding to Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole,” DeSantis stated in a statement. “Closing point out offices on November 23, December 23 and December 30 will give point out employees with some considerably-deserved time with their people to love the holiday time.
