Rockefeller Christmas Tree Arrives in NYC — Here is When You Can See It

The 2022 Rockefeller Heart Xmas Tree accomplished its around 200-mile trek to Manhattan exactly where groups are planning to unhold and hoist this year’s 82-foot tall Norway Spruce into location.

The 50-foot broad, 14-ton tree was brought down from Queensbury on a flatbed truck wherever it was to be erected at Rockefeller Heart Saturday. The tree, considered to be about 85 to 90 yrs outdated, was donated by the Lebowitz spouse and children of Glen Falls.

Once in position on the plaza, the tree will be dressed with much more than 50,000 LED lights and topped with a Swarovski crystal star.

The 3-dimensional Swarovski star, built by architect Daniel Libeskind in 2018, weighs about 900 lbs and features 70 spikes lined in 3 million crystals. The star’s diameter is 9 ft, 4 inches.

The holiday icon will be lit on the evening of Nov. 30 in a stay broadcast on NBC. (Immediately after the season finishes, the tree will be taken down and milled into lumber that is donated to Habitat for Humanity.)

After Nov. 30, the lights on the tree will be lit day-to-day from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. On Christmas Working day, the tree stays on for 24 hrs.

The huge tree was cut down in Queensbury, New York, and will head to New York City.
