Nick Lachey may have just served up 98 degrees of shade.
All through the “Really like is Blind” season 3 reunion, the show’s hosts, Nick and his wife Vanessa Lachey, sat down to rehash the romantic ups and the downs with the pairs from the pods. But it was Nick himself who had lovers increasing their eyebrows after he connected with contestant Matt Bolton over previous marriages, quipping that relationship “is constantly much better the next time.”
Bolton’s response to Nick’s remark (and fist bump)? “Cheers, bud.”
Prior to tying the knot with Vanessa in 2011, the 98 Degrees alum was famously married to Jessica Simpson for approximately 4 yrs right up until their 2006 split. As for Bolton, through this season, he exposed that he was married the moment right before prior to conference his pod-mate — and now wife — Colleen Reed.
Soon after the reunion — which hit Netflix on Nov. 9 — aired, viewers voiced their viewpoint about Nick’s obvious dig towards the “With You” singer on social media.

Just before Nick and Jessica break up in the mid-aughts, followers got a front-row peek at their romance with their reality exhibit, MTV’s “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.” It can be an encounter that Nick also seemed to reference through the reunion immediately after contestant Cole Barnett expressed regret for showing up on the exhibit.
“Coming from anyone who did fact Tv set,” Nick shared. “It is a powerful and extremely strange and pretty weird matter to see your life on display.”
