Dania Seashore resort visitor pistol-whipped, robbed


FORT LAUDERDALE – The research is on for a male and girl who pistol-whipped and robbed a visitor staying at a Dania Seashore hotel.

Broward sheriff’s investigators said on Monday, Oct 24th, a person who was in city for the Dolphins sport the day prior to was asleep in the space of his hotel, in close proximity to the 300 block of N Federal Highway, when he heard a knock on the door just just after 5 a.m.

Contemplating it was the human being who was being with him at the lodge, he opened the doorway only to discover a woman carrying a red gown and white hat. Seconds later, a gentleman donning a purple hoodie and armed with a gun barged into the room and the lady followed.

When inside of, the armed gentleman demanded cash, and jewellery, and threatened to get rid of the resort guest if he failed to comply. The armed man then pistol-whipped the guest as the woman rummaged via the room, according to sheriff’s investigators. They still left with dollars, electronics, and other own possessions.

Surveillance video from the lodge exhibits the girl coming into the foyer, walking toward an exit door, and permitting the male inside of. Both of those are observed walking towards their target’s room a several minutes afterwards.

In the movie, the woman can be seen knocking on the door while her accomplice paced the corridor. Immediately after the theft, the duo left the place in a more recent model black Toyota Corolla.
