POLK City – A sheriff’s deputy was fatally shot Tuesday though serving a warrant in central Florida.
The 21-calendar year-outdated Polk Co. Sheriff’s deputy was shot immediately after entering a trailer in the early early morning with 3 other deputies to serve a warrant on a suspect wished for failing to show up on a felony drug cost.
The deputy, a single of the youngest on the force, was taken to a clinic where he died, “despite valiant efforts,” stated Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd
The deputy’s identify wasn’t straight away launched publicly, pending notification of family members.
