MIAMI – Dozens of rescuers from South Florida will make their way to the west coastline to lend a hand in research and rescue endeavours.
Thursday morning, 96 users of Miami-Dade Fireplace Rescue’s Urban Search and Rescue workforce Florida Endeavor Power took off for parts impacted by Hurricane Ian.
Vans carrying boats, search puppies, and other desired resources have been headed to the most difficult hit parts.

The mayor said they will be there as long as necessary.

And I can only tell you from what I saw at Surfside, you cannot quit them. You know, they are so devoted and dedicated. They function extended than their shifts. They have to be occasionally pulled out to quit their operations. So you have bought people with all types of skills. You have bought technicians and engineers and health care personnel. We have bought boats, we have obtained generators. We’ve bought all-terrain motor vehicles. This is a total pressure going into an area that desperately requires our support,” mentioned Levine Cava.
Eighty customers of Florida Activity Power 2 were earlier identified as up and are functioning in Fort Myers.
