“The Office” alums and former pair Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak had audience associates and viewers at household in stitches when presenting in the course of the 2022 Emmy Awards on Sept. 12. Although introducing the category for Superb Composing for a Constrained or Anthology Sequence or Movie, the longtime pals place the nominees on blast with a hilarious onstage bit that also poked entertaining at their earlier romance.
Mindy began, “To all the nominees we want to say congratulations, you lazy sons of bitches. How are you receiving absent with this? We came up undertaking community sitcoms–22 exhibits a year.”
B.J. extra, “And that clearly show, it would get up your total everyday living. No time for other initiatives.”
“No time for a social existence,” Mindy continued. “You had no choice but to type insanely complicated relationships with your co-stars.” Wink, wink.
B.J. reported, “Now you can just produce some self-contained masterpiece, cast it with motion picture stars.”

All jokes aside, B.J. concluded, “In all honesty, we are in awe of the incredible get the job done these artists have been in a position to do with nothing but limitless time and assets.”
Amusing more than enough, the duo then go through the category’s winner: “The White Lotus'” Mike White.
