Former Miami Mayor Xavier Suarez remembers assembly with Queen Elizabeth II


MIAMI – People today across South Florida are remembering Queen Elizabeth II fondly. 

At the British market in Davie, men and women ended up acquiring British flags,  banners and figurines of the queen.

Also, remembering the queen, previous Miami Mayor Xavier Suarez. He was with the queen when she frequented South Florida in 1991. 

On Friday, he spoke about the instant he met royalty. He remembers the queen as someone who was pleasing to be close to and manufactured people today feel relaxed. 

“The fascinating issue about the queen is that she was pretty ordinary. Just about like a neighbor. Of course, 1 of the ideal-recognized folks not only at the time she frequented, but during record,” Suarez said. “She was pretty gracious, complimentary, joyful and the people today relevant to her rather perfectly.”
