MIAMI (CBSMiami) – On Tuesday, the Broward Sheriff’s Office Dive Rescue Team, in coordination with the Pembroke Pines Police Department Dive Team partnered with Guardians for the Missing to locate and recover vehicles submerged in a lake in Deerfield Beach.
Authorities said the three-day operation will begin Tuesday, May 24 and end Thursday, May 26.

CBS4 news cameras showed what looked to be a 1990s Bentley being pulled out of the water.

So, far 13 vehicles have been identified as possible sunken cars in Sailboat Lake, authorities said.
Officials said the goal of the joint operation is to recover any submerged vehicles, investigate the circumstances surrounding their presence in Sailboat Lake, and continue BSO’s efforts to clear Broward County waterways.
