Developer Mosie Miller sells waterfront Palm Beach home for $31M

Developer Mosie Miller and his wife, Michelle, sold a renovated waterfront home in Palm Beach for $30.8 million.

The Millers sold the home at 1246 North Lake Way after more than a year on the market, according to the Multiple Listing Service. The deed has yet to appear in public records, and the buyer is unknown.

Christian Angle with Christian Angle Real Estate had the listing, and Margit Brandt with Premier Estate Properties brought the buyer.

Mosie Miller is a frequent developer of luxury homes in Palm Beach County. His father, the marina owner Robert Miller, bought a $25 million home in the Mar-a-Lago Security Zone in February.

In 2023, Mosie Miller sold the oceanfront spec mansion at 149 East Inlet Drive for $68.1 million, after buying the site for $14.6 million in 2017. Also that year, he sold a spec mansion in Palm Beach Gardens’ Old Palm Golf Club to BET co-founder Robert Johnson for $20 million.

That was also the year he bought the North Lake Way home for $21.6 million. The 4,700-square-foot house was built in 1962 on 0.3 acres, and includes five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, one half-bathroom, a pool and a dock, records and the listing show.

The Millers completed an extensive renovation of the home and listed the house for $34.9 million in November of 2024, Zillow shows.

It marks the latest pricey sale in Palm Beach this season. Earlier this month, the former COO of Red Bull, Gary Smith bought a waterfront mansion on the island for $55.2 million. In March, the family of the late George Cohon, the McDonald’s mogul who expanded the franchise to Canada and Russia, sold a waterfront lot for $27.5 million. That same month, Fordham University trustee  Kim Bepler bought a $30 million lakefront home.
