South Florida’s top deals: Davie office property trades for $12M



🏆 Commercial: The top commercial real estate deal to hit records was in Davie, where an office building at 5400 South University Drive changed hands for $12.3 million. The seller was an LLC tied to RESMA LLC, based in Hallandale Beach, and the buyer was an LLC linked to Robert Shub. The seller purchased the nearly 57,000-square-foot property in 2020 for $10.7 million. The latest sale pencils out to roughly $215 per square foot.

🏆 Residential: Palm Beach Gardens logged the top home sale in South Florida. Robert and Lisa Stewart parted with a home at 658 Hermitage Circle for $7.2 million. The buyers were Michael and Jennifer Adams. The home spans almost 8,500 square feet and has six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. The Stewarts purchased the home, built in 2015, in 2009 for $2.5 million. They put it on the market in March, with an asking price of $7.5 million. Bobby Wunderlich with BWG Realty represented both sides in the transaction.

📊 Commercial: In Palm Beach Gardens, a two-building office complex spanning roughly 30,000 square feet at 4880 Donald Ross Road sold for $9.3 million. The seller was an LLC managed by Joel Prince. The buyer was Old Tree Ventures LLC. The deal breaks down to about $310 per square foot.
