Rapper Offset ‘stable' after getting shot near Hard Rock casino in Hollywood

Rapper and singer Offset is in stable condition after he was shot Monday near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood.

A spokesperson told NBC News that the rapper was shot and was hospitalized and receiving medical care.

“He is stable and being closely monitored,” the spokesperson said.

According to Seminole Police, two people were detained after an “incident” that happened after 7 p.m. in the valet area of the Hard Rock. An individual was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Casino operations continued as normal, and there is no threat to the public, police said.

NBC6 has reached out to the casino for more information.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was formerly a part of the hip hop trio Migos. Takeoff, one of the members, was killed in a shooting in 2022.
