South Florida’s top deals: Griffis Residential scoops up West Palm Beach apartment complex for $79M



🏆 Residential: Boca Raton had the top home sale to hit records in the tri-county region, with the sale of a waterfront home at 1957 Southeast 21st Avenue for $10.7 million. The 6,600-square-foot home last traded in 2022 for $3.9 million. The seller was an LLC tied to real estate developer Costas Reamensnyder. The buyer was a company linked to Marcos Cintron.

🏆 Commercial: The top commercial deal recorded in South Florida was for an apartment complex in West Palm Beach. Suffern, New York-based Castle Lanterra sold the complex at 805 North Olive Avenue for $78.5 million to Griffis Residential, a property manager based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The property, which spans nearly 280,000 square feet and has 263 apartments, last sold in 2017 for $63.5 million. The complex dates to 2015 and sits on a 2.5-acre site. Previously named Loftin Place, it was rebranded to Griffis North Olive.

📊 Commercial: In Jupiter, a two-building office complex spanning more than 35,000 square feet at 900 South U.S. Highway 1 sold for $14.5 million. The seller was New York-based Renaissance Properties, which acquired the property in 2021 for $13.8 million. The buyer was Jupiter-based Voloridge Holdings. The buildings date to 1985 and 1990 and sit on a nearly 5-acre site.

📊 Residential: Raymond and Lois Richards parted with a waterfront home at 317 Old Jupiter Beach Road in Jupiter for $9.2 million. The buyers were Daniel and Hildi Maclean. The Richards had owned the 6,700-square-foot home since 2023, when they purchased it for $7.3 million. The home has five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms and was built in 2004. Its last asking price was $9.4 million. Douglas Elliman’s Samantha Curry represented both sides of the transaction.
