Vanna White and John Donaldson are officially married.
The “Wheel of Fortune” star surprised her followers when she revealed that she and her longtime love tied the knot.
In a Jan. 21 Instagram post, White, 68, is seen in a white dress as Donaldson carries her in his arms.
“Surprise! We got married! John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony,” White captioned her post.
She added that they are “excited to share this new joyful chapter in our lives with all of you,” signing it, “Love, Vanna and John.”
The post also includes throwback photos from their time together, including one of them posing in front of a heart sign and another of them sitting in chairs beside a pool while holding hands and lovingly looking at each other.
Her son, Nikko Santo Pietro, shared the news of his mom’s wedding on his Instagram story, writing, “Congrats mom and John!!”
He also commented, “Congrats!!” with a confetti and champagne emoji on White’s post.
Maggie Sajak, Pat Sajak’s daughter and social correspondent for “Wheel of Fortune,” commented teary eyes and a white heart emoji on White’s announcement.
Ryan Seacrest congratulated White on his Instagram story, too.
White met Donaldson, a construction company owner, in 2012 after a mutual friend brought him to a barbecue White was hosting, according to People.
“I remember looking at him and thinking, ‘He’s really cute,’” she told the magazine. “We ended up talking for a long time that night.”
Before they became husband and wife, White shared that she didn’t feel pressured to get remarried. In December 2025, she told E! News that she felt they were still in the honeymoon phase.
“We’re very happy. We’ve been together for a long time and we are just happy the way it is,” she said at the time. “Maybe people want to see us get married. When you’ve been with someone for so long, you kind of feel like you’re already married. You don’t have to have that piece of paper.”
She previously told People in 2023 that she already felt as if they were husband and wife.
Adding, “I know that he’s the one. He knows I’m the one.”
