Hailey Bieber doesn’t like the light that the internet is painting her in.
The Rhode founder recently addressed online speculation that she reposted a TikTok calling out “abuse” in her marriage with Justin Bieber.
“Hey,” she captioned the Jan. 10 Instagram Stories post. “I know you guys who live on the internet are really bored, but I didn’t repost any video speaking on my relationship.”
She added, “Have a beautiful Saturday!”
Her comments come after an online user posted a Jan. 10 screen recording of the model’s TikTok reposts on X, where a video appeared of a separate user analyzing photos and videos of the couple.
“Most long-term relationships that we romanticize and congratulate only work because the woman is a tolerant co-dependent,” the user said in the Jan. 8 TikTok video. “And when I say tolerant, I mean she tolerates mediocrity, abuse, doing the majority of domestic and emotional labor, in exchange for being in a relationship. And that is a contract that I am opting out of.”
She added, “There is no better example than Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber.”

But Hailey and Justin are no strangers to quieting chatter about their ten-year romance. Recently, Hailey, 29, opened up about how the couple — who share son Jack Blues Bieber, 16 months — navigates hearsay about their relationship with a baby on board.
“We’re just taking it a day at a time,” Hailey told GQ in an interview published on Nov. 11. “We both feel very protective of our son and I don’t think that’s ever going to change, but our life is our life and it is really public, so I think we’re just going to cross every bridge that we need to when we get there.”
She continued, “But as of right now, I feel really comfortable about the way we are sharing things and not sharing things.”
And Hailey has also been candid about how insensitive rumors about her personal life have impacted her motherhood journey as a whole.
“Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult,” she told Vogue in an interview published May 20. “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, ‘They’re getting divorced’ and ‘They’re this and They’re not happy’: It is such a mindf–k. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.”
As she’s previously noted, setting the record straight can get exhausting.
“I feel like I’ve fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me,” Hailey said. “And people just don’t want to sometimes. And there’s nothing you can do about that.”
She continued, “I’ve been in a position where I’ve tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie and then they go, Well, she’s lying. Imagine how trapping that feels.”
It’s literally music to Beliebers’ ears. Justin Bieber dropped his seventh studio album “Swag” on July 11.
