Miami demonstrators call for safety after fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis

A small group of protesters gathered at Miami’s Torch of Friendship in response to the fatal ICE shooting of 37‑year‑old Renee Good in Minneapolis. Though only about a dozen people attended, they called for protection of Miami’s diverse communities and voiced fears about ICE‑related arrests. Chants filled downtown as speakers condemned the shooting and warned they don’t want Miami to face similar incidents.
