Taylor Swift is sharing a sneak peek at a sweet note Travis Kelce wrote her ahead of her final “Eras Tour” concerts.
In the final episode of her six-part “The End of an Era” docuseries, the pop star gets nostalgic as she wraps a special era on the road. As emotions run high, her Kansas City Chiefs star fiancé sends her a message telling her how thankful he is for the record-breaking tour that brought them together.
Backstage in her green room, with just three shows left, Swift sits on a couch next to a bouquet of white roses and reads a letter Kelce wrote her.
“So many unbelievable memories on this tour, but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time, being … mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn’t even know me,” she quotes with a laugh, reading the note out loud. “I selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to Robert for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri.”
“That night, too, in KC, was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life…” she continues, before reading the rest to herself.
Taylor Swift talks about releasing her album “The Life of a Showgirl,” Travis Kelce trying to distract her from his surprise proposal and why she’s not performing at the Super Bowl.
After reading it, she says, “Ohhh, my god. So much for no emotions on the last three shows, huh?”
As Swifties know, the Chiefs tight end attended Swift’s concert at his team’s home stadium in July 2023. Then during his “New Heights” podcast, he shared that he tried and failed to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it.
Behind the scenes, the two started connecting and rumors of a romance brewing ignited when Swift attended her first Chiefs game in September 2023.
Just over two years after Kelce attended that fateful Swift concert, the pair announced their engagement in August 2025.
During Swift’s first appearance on “New Heights,” Swift touched on how the podcast and her tour brought them together.
“This podcast has done a lot for me. I owe a lot to this podcast. This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago,” she joked.
When Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, asked if she ever got the bracelet Travis Kelce made for her, she replied, “I’ve never seen the original.”
“It was such a wild romantic gesture to just be like, ‘I want to date you!’” she said, later adding, “This is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”
