A roadside breakdown turned into a viral act of compassion when Justin Bieber stopped to help a stranded driver.
The individual filming, @bukumusic on TikTok, explained he was enduring hard times and reflected on going through a “tough” patch in life. The text on the screen read to his 19.1k followers: “When your car breaks down… and you’ve been trying so hard in life. It’s just tough.”
He continued, “You move to the big city, trying to make it here like everybody else …”
Moments later, the TikToker, seemingly in disbelief, said: “I might be trippin’, but I think Justin Bieber just stopped to help.” He paused, squinted to get a better look, and shook his head: “I don’t know.”
As he focused on the “Daisies” singer, the man asked in shock, “Are you Justin Bieber?” while still recording. Bieber replied, “Yeah, what up, bro, it’s Justin.” Bieber then asked what had happened, and the man joked, “Do you really wanna know?” Bieber simply said, “Tell me, bro.” Out of respect, the man stopped recording.
When the pop star left, the man returned to the camera, saying, “My life is crazy.” He added that Bieber gave him “the best prayer I’ve ever had in my life” and called the moment “crazy.”
Bieber’s act of kindness is not entirely out of left field. The music sensation has spoken openly in recent years about the importance of faith and his passion for living out kindness in the way he treats others.
He has also shared candidly about his battle with anxiety and depression, remaining transparent with fans about his ongoing journey.
