The Los Angeles homes of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke were burglarized Saturday, their representatives told NBC Los Angeles.
Hilton’s husband Rick was home at the time, but no injuries were reported, the rep said Monday. Law enforcement sources told NBC Los Angeles Investigates that Rick Hilton, grandson of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton, apparently scared off the intruders.
The intruders broke in through a kitchen window and ransacked the home, law enforcement sources said.
Authorities said they were waiting for Kathy Hilton to return home and determine whether anything was stolen. Kathy Hilton — a philanthropist, entrepreneur and the mother of Nicky and Paris Hilton — was at BravoCon in Las Vegas over the weekend. The three-day convention featured meet-and-greets, fan events and panels with many of Bravo’s stars.
Sutton Stracke, Hilton’s “RHOBH” co-star who was also attending BravoCon, said her home was targeted the same day.
“The individuals involved entered through a kitchen window and stole all of my luxury handbags, including pieces from Hermes, Chanel and other designers. They also took my fine jewelry,” Stracke said in a statement.
Stracke said she has since hired 24-hour security and replaced the existing surveillance systems.
Law enforcement sources told NBC Los Angeles they are looking for a possible connection between the two reported burglaries.
No arrests were reported Monday.
The burglaries come months after the home of former “Real Housewives” castmate Teddi Mellencamp was targeted. Mellencamp’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, told NBC Los Angeles that three people jumped the gate and set off the alarm system.
