Popeyes unleashes horrific new menu inspired by ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’

Halloween may be behind us, but murderous animatronics are still lurking around — not at Chuck E. Cheese, but Popeyes.

On Nov. 17, Popeyes teamed up with “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” to drop the Freddy Fazbear Crunch Menu ahead of the supernatural horror film’s release on Dec. 5.

The menu is inspired by the nocturnal and haunted animatronic monsters themselves and now available at participating U.S. Popeyes restaurants nationwide.

(Wondering if they checked in with Toy Chica about this collaboration first, but she must be fine with it.)

Popeyes is entering the world of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria by offering two bundle options:

  • Freddy Fazbear Deluxe Box ($12.99): Three pieces of classic or spicy chicken tenders topped with garlic Parmesan rub, served with warm, garlic-crusted Cheesy Bites, marinara dipping sauce, a Cupcake Cup and a drink.
  • Freddy Fazbear Box ($7.99): Three pieces of classic or spicy chicken tenders topped with a garlic Parmesan rub, served with warm, garlic-crusted Cheesy Bites and marinara dipping sauce.

Popeyes notes that prices for the bundles may vary by location.

In addition to the new, limited-time menu, customers can buy Freddy Fazbear Crunch Menu items individually, including:

  • Cheesy Bites with Marinara Sauce ($3.99): Fried garlic-crusted cheese curds made with white cheddar cheese, served warm with a cup of marinara sauce.
  • Cupcake Cup ($3.99): Strawberry-flavored cake topped with pink icing.

Amy Alarcon, VP of culinary at Popeyes, said since Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is an “iconic part of the film,” the team “had a blast reimagining” it with a Popeyes’ flair.

“It’s our way of giving fans a delicious taste of the movie’s universe, where that iconic Popeyes flavor meets a little bit of nostalgic pizzeria mystery,” Alarcon added.

Additionally, fans can score exclusive collectible sticker packs featuring the film’s animatronic characters at select Popeyes restaurants nationwide, but only in limited quantities — which means “there are no second chances once the menu is gone,” says Popeyes.

“Are you ready to start the show?”
