Don’t mourn the “Wicked” film series just yet.

During a Q&A session to promote “Wicked: For Good,” Ariana Grande hinted that the film — which adapts the second and final act of the Tony-winning stage musical — isn’t necessarily the end of the story for herself and her castmates, including Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey.

“If we’ve learned anything from Cher, we can count on there always being another farewell tour,” she said during the event in Los Angeles Nov. 15, as seen in a video on her Instagram page. “So I don’t think anyone’s going anywhere.”

However, when asked if her statement was confirmation of a third movie in the franchise, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer replied, “I don’t know.”

Whether or not the cast reunites for another journey to Oz, Grande, 32, explained that bringing the story of Elphaba and Glinda to the big screen solidified a bond that she and her costars will carry beyond their time working together.

“No one’s going anywhere,” she continued. “We’re not saying goodbye to anything. These characters will be a part of our hearts always. They’ve changed our lives irrevocably and permanently. I’m so grateful for that.”

Of course, Grande found a particularly profound connection with Erivo, 38, explaining that their connection — both onscreen and off — was simply meant to be.

“Being able to do it with Cynthia, who I have a lifelong sister in, was absolutely the greatest gift of my life,” she gushed. “It couldn’t have been anyone else. It was so destined and so incredible, and I’m so grateful for what we have exchanged as well.”

And the “Harriet” actress previously echoed her scene partner’s sentiment.

“This film brought us together, but it’s not the thing that keeps us together,” she told E! News’ Will Marfuggi in February. “We were lucky because we got to meet each other on this project, but when the project goes away, we’re still good friends. That’s still my sister. It’s not this that’s keeping us together.”

Wicked: For Good opens in theaters Nov. 21.

The “Wicked” star chatted with Access Hollywood at the Fourth Annual Las Culturistas Culture Awards 2025 red carpet and praised the “Jurassic World Rebirth” star for singing on the song, “The Best Is Yet To Come” on his album “Still Blooming.”
