'Ultimate Road Trip': Andy Cohen announces 'Real Housewives' spinoff

Andy Cohen shared exciting news at BravoCon about the fate of a fan favorite “Real Housewives” series.

In a video shared to Bravo’s Instagram Nov. 16 from BravoCon in Las Vegas, Cohen addressed the elephant in the room: When is “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” returning to the air?

“Guys, ‘Ultimate Girls Trip’ is back and it’s on Bravo, coming in 2026,” Cohen, the executive producer for the “Real Housewives” franchise, announced. “It’s ‘The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip,’ celebrating 20 years of ‘The Real Housewives.’”

Cohen teased what fans could expect from the series, adding, “We will have iconic housewives taking the road trip of a lifetime to the housewives’ cities, where they will be joined by iconic housewives — past and present — from the span of two decades.”

Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted, shared a statement about the series with Bravo, explaining, “For two decades, the Real Housewives has amplified women’s voices, spotlighted their ambition, humor, and strength, inspiring millions with their unapologetic authenticity.”

“’The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip’ is a love letter to the women who turned a reality television show into a cultural phenomenon — and the fans who’ve been there for every laugh, gasp, toast, and table turn,” Berwick added.

An announcement for the show teased “a group of beloved Housewives from across the years embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.” The trip will start where it all began, out in Orange County, with the grand finale taking place on the East Coast.

“Along the way, viewers can expect nostalgic reunions, heartfelt revelations, effortless humor, and the larger-than-life dynamics that only Housewives can deliver,” per the announcement.

No release date has been announced, but the show is set to premiere in 2026 on Bravo.

Phaedra Parks brought the “Housewives” glamor to the 2025 Emmy Awards. Watch as she has stars like Parker Posey, Ice T, Cristin Milioti and more recreate iconic taglines from “The Real Housewives” franchise.

The “Real Housewives” franchise began in March 2006 with “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” which featured Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough and Lauri Waring in the first season’s cast.

Over the next two decades, the series expanded beyond Orange County to New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Miami, Salt Lake City and more. It also inspired many spinoff series, including “Vanderpump Rules.”

“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” premiered in November 2021 and featured a star-studded cast from across the “Real Housewives” shows: Cynthia Bailey, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Luann de Lesseps, Kenya Moore, Kyle Richards and Ramona Singer.

The spinoff series has aired four seasons so far with a revolving cast of housewives. The most recent season premiered in December 2023 and ran through early January 2024.

BravoCon 2025 was full of announcements from Cohen. The producer shared the news that the cast of the next “The Real Housewives of New York City” season has been solidified, and he unveiled the trailer for the newest franchise addition, “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.”
