There’s a national holiday for everything — even pickles! On Friday, Nov. 14, briny food fanatics will have the opportunity to celebrate their favorite snack with deals and freebies at restaurants across the country.
Below, we’ve roundup up some of the companies and brands that are getting in on the fun.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings customers can get a free order of fried pickles with a $10+ purchase on Nov. 14 with the code FREEPICKLES. The offer isn’t valid through third party delivery.
Cleveland Kitchen
Cleveland Kitchen is handing out free pickles in the following cities on Nov. 14 between 12 — 2 p.m.
- New York: Broadway & Spring St. (SoHo)
- Philadelphia: 12th St & Arch St.
- Chicago: N Michigan Ave.
- Cleveland: Case Western Reserve University
- Boulder: Pearl Street Mall
- Austin: South Congress & Elizabeth St.
- Nashville: Lower Broadway
- Miami: Brickell City Centre
- Seattle: 1st Ave & Pike St.
- Los Angeles: The Grove & Farmers Market
Additionally, the chain is giving away free pickles for a year. Here’s how to enter: Attend one of the events, take a picture and post it to social for the chance to be entered into the giveaway.
Grillo’s Pickles
Grillo’s Pickles has planned three National Pickle Day Bar Parties in the following cities:
- Boston: All day long, Small Victories Bar will have pickle-inspired food, cocktails, a photo booth and exclusive merch.
- Tampa: SPoT will have live music, tattoos, a dunk tank, a secret skate demo and Grillo’s surprises.
- New York City: Bar Snack will have pickle-inspired cocktails and food, a tattoo artist, merch and more.
Jason’s Deli
To celebrate National Pickle Day, Jason’s Deli is giving away 100 gallons of pickle chips on Nov. 14. Twenty-five winners will each receive four gallons in an ice bucket. To enter, Instagram users can follow the chain, like the giveaway post, leave a comment saying who they’d share their pickles with and tag two friends.
Jimmy John’s
Jimmy John’s is running a giveaway for National Pickle Day. The winner will take home free pickles for a year (aka a $500 Jimmy John’s gift card). Customers can enter in one of two ways:
- Reward members will be automatically entered when they use the code PICKLEFREAK to enjoy a buy one, get one free offer on Picklewich sandwiches. The single-use deal is valid on the chain’s app or website while supplies last and can’t be combined with other offers.
- Rewards members can email [email protected] with their full name, address, date of birth and the email address connected to their rewards account with the subject line “Jimmy John’s Pickle Day Sweepstakes” on Nov. 14.
Kinzie Foods
Kinzie Foods is offering 15% off its Pickle BBQ Sauce with the code BigDill in honor of the holiday.
McAlister’s Deli
McAlister’s Deli is adding a pickle to any beverage on Nov. 14 to celebrate the holiday. The in-store offer is available at participating locations and is limited to five pickles per transaction.
Oh Snap! Pickling Co.
Oh Snap! Pickling Co. is running a giveaway on Instagram and giving the winners pickle merchandise and Oh Snaps products. To enter, Instagram users can like the giveaway post and follow the brand then tag someone and wish them a happy National Pickle Day.
Ojos Locos Sports Cantina
Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is selling $5 Fried Jalapeños y Pickles Baskets at all locations on Nov. 14.
Toppers Pizza
Toppers Pizza is running the following deal for National Pickle Day: buy any large house pizza and get a free Pickle Pizza or Picklestix. The Pickle Pizza is made with ranch, Wisconsin mozzarella, bacon, pickle chips and dill. Picklestix are a unique take on the restaurant’s Topperstix and are drizzled in garlic butter, mozzarella, pickle chips and dill.
Twang
