Government shutdown forces FAA to slash flights, hitting Miami and other major airports

The FAA ordered airlines to cut 10% of flights nationwide due to air traffic controller shortages from the government shutdown, leading to cancellations at MIA and warnings of higher fares and possible travel disruptions in the coming days.
