Target’s Thanksgiving meal feeds 4 for under $20, its ‘lowest price ever’

Target is joining a growing list of retailers who are slashing the price of their Thanksgiving meal to entice budget-conscious customers into their stores.

On Nov. 5, the retailer announced that its holiday meal for four is back once again this year at its “lowest price ever.”

What’s included in the meal? We’ve got all the essential details below.

Target’s holiday meal feeds 4 for under $20

Per a press release, Target’s Thanksgiving meal can feed a family of four for less than $5 per person. The prices are pre-tax and the offer isn’t valid in Alaska or Hawaii.

As part of the deal, Good & Gather turkeys will cost the same as they did in 2024: 79 cents per pound. This is significant for many consumers, especially since a USDA report recently predicted that wholesale prices for frozen turkeys would go up 40% this holiday season compared to last year.

For under $20, Target’s Thanksgiving meal for four includes the following items, which consumers will have to purchase individually:

  • Good & Gather Premium Basted Young Turkey (frozen, up to 10 pounds)
  • Good & Gather Russet Potatoes (5-pound bag)
  • 14-ounce Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce
  • 6-ounce Stove Top Stuffing Mix
  • 12-ounce Heinz Home Style Roasted Turkey Gravy
  • Favorite Day Soft French Bread
  • Good & Gather Frozen Corn

Target will also have deals on “thousands of groceries and everyday essentials” during the holiday season, including the following items, which will cost $4.99 between Nov. 16 — 29:

  • Favorite Day apple and pumpkin pie

New Good & Gather creations like:

  • Harvest Squash Empanadas
  • Chicken Pot Pie Empanadas
  • Mashed Sweet Potato with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar
  • Vegetables with Parmesan Cheese

Aldi and Walmart are also offering Thanksgiving meal deals

In October, Aldi announced its Thanksgiving meal deal would be $7 less than it was in 2024. As part of the deal, customers can buy 21 individual items for $40.

Walmart also unveiled its plans to save consumers money this year when it revealed its Thanksgiving dinner will cost less than $4 per person. For approximately $39.92, customers can purchase a meal that feeds 10 people.
