“Dancing With the Stars” put a spell on us and we’re hooked!
Halloween Night took over the ballroom during the Oct. 28, Week 7 episode as the nine remaining couples got into the spooky spirit.
During the episode it was revealed that Elaine Hendrix was hospitalized after sustaining a rib injury during rehearsals. She and partner Alan Bersten were judged on their taped rehearsal routine. The actor is recovering and was cleared by doctors to continue in the competition if they advance to next week.
Meanwhile, two-time Mirrorball champion Cheryl Burke joined as a guest judge, while “DWTS” saw the return of the “Dance Monster-thon.”
All on the ballroom floor at the same time, the pairs began by dancing a hustle and then the Lindy hop. The judges then tapped out couples one at a time. Those who stayed on the dance floor longer earned additional bonus points before the last duo standing was crowned the winner of “Dance Monster-thon.”
The bonus points received were added to the judges’ scores from the first round of dance to determine the final combined leaderboard of the night.
Last week, “Pentatonix” singer Scott Hoying and partner Rylee Arnold were eliminated after a spectacular “Wicked“ Night.
Here’s a recap of what went down on the seventh episode of the season, including the dances, scores from Burke, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, and who was eliminated.
