Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays, is also home to the only hotel in North America located within an MLB ballpark.
The Toronto Marriott City Center, built within the 40,000-plus-seat stadium, offers one of the most unique perspectives in all of sports with stadium views for those who have checked in to the hotel rooms that line the outfield.
Guests can open the floor-to-ceiling, panoramic windows in their rooms and watch the game without purchasing a ticket. All that’s needed is a reservation and a key card.
Those, however, are not so easy to get these days with the stadium and hotel set to host the 2025 World Series when the Blue Jays take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 on Friday and Game 2 on Saturday.
“It’s a life dream for a lot of people to be in here and sit on your La-Z-Boy and watch a game from your room,” Julie Shorrock, regional director of sales and marketing at Toronto Marriott City Centre, told NBC Local the morning of Game 1 of the World Series. “It’s pretty amazing. And watching batting practice and the setup…all the behind-the-scenes things, even the clean-up and everything afterwards is pretty cool for a lot of fans.”
How do you reserve a room? Same as any other hotel. How much do they cost? Perhaps not as much as you might think. Are there any rooms available for the World Series? Yes and no.
“It’s been crazy,” Shorrock said. “Phones are ringing off the hook, lots and lots of interest.”

How many hotel rooms are at Rogers Centre?
Of the 348 rooms at the Toronto Marriott City Centre, 55 of them have unobstructed views of the field and stadium. The viewing area from an additional 15 offer views partially obstructed by the scoreboard.
Do hotel guests need a ticket to Blue Jays games at Rogers Centre?
Nope. Just open the window in the room, take a seat and enjoy the view of the field and the roar of the crowd.
“It’s like you’re in the stadium, really and truly,” Shorrock said.
How much is a hotel room at Rogers Centre?
The price of Toronto’s stadium-view hotel rooms vary based on room type, time of year and demand. They can start at around $600 Canadian dollars, which is roughly $430 in the U.S., and go up to thousands of dollars per night.
“The lowest is on a Sunday day game where we have a little bit less demand,” Shorrock said. “But typically around $1,500 a night give or take depending on the team, how the demand is in the city and everything else.”
Room configurations and window sizes also vary, with stadium-view suites offering an elevated living area with windows that open to the field.

Room prices at the Toronto Marriott City Centre for Game 1 and Game 2 of the World Series started at $3,999 Canadian dollars, which is $2,856 in the U.S.
Are there any hotel rooms left at Rogers Centre for the World Series?
The rooms at Toronto Marriott City Centre went on sale for Game 1 and Game 2 shortly after the Blue Jays advanced to the World Series and quickly sold out. Rooms were limited, Shorrock said, because many had been booked years in advance for city-wide conventions being held in the city the same dates. Those lucky guests now have free seats to the World Series.
“Who knew we’d be here? Which is fantastic,” Shorrock said. “So, there were limited rooms available over these first two games. So we held onto them until we knew for sure that they were gonna be playing here and then opened them up and they sold very, very quickly.”
Hotel rooms for a potential Game 6 on Oct. 31 and Game 7 on Nov. 1 have not yet been made available.
“We’re gonna keep an eye on things because we don’t want to put it out right now because then everybody will cancel if the Jays win it in four let’s say and they don’t need to come back for Game 6 or 7,” Shorrock said. “So, we’re holding off, they’ll be going up as soon as we know they’ll be coming back, if they’re coming back.”
Can hotel guests get into Rogers Centre?
That you will need a ticket for. Although the hotel is built within the stadium, guests attending the game must depart the hotel and walk mere feet to the traditional stadium entrance.

Up to five people are allowed into the room during a game or event, but only four are permitted to stay overnight.
“So, you’re gonna have to kick one of your buddies out at some point,” Shorrock said with a laugh.
What type of security is there at the hotel in Rogers Centre?
If you’re thinking of booking a room and sneaking in 50 friends for a viewing party, think again. Each guest must be registered at the front desk upon check-in and then receive a wristband to gain access to the elevators leading to the stadium-view room floor, which is also patrolled by security.
Upon entering the hotel, guests are scanned with a wand metal detector and subject to a bag check.
Can you watch the game in the hotel without a room reservation?
The Sportsnet Grille restaurant and bar located on the first floor of the hotel also offers floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the stadium. It is open to the public via reservations for game days. During the regular season, there is a $10 sitting fee to watch the game and patrons must spend a minimum of $50 on food and/or beverages.
It’s a popular spot for locals, and reservations for the World Series sold out even before the stadium-view hotel rooms.
“You’re sitting there right at the window so it’s a great experience,” Shorrock said. “Obviously for the playoffs and World Series, it’s a little bit more and they have been sold.”
Are rooms available for the 2026 MLB season?
The 2026 MLB schedule has been released, but the hotel is waiting for game times to be posted before making rooms available for the season.
“As soon as they are available to be booked, we’ll do a big social media blitz on it to let people know, ‘OK, the time has come,’” Shorrock said. “And my suggestion would be to get on it very, very quickly because by the looks of things, the Jays are gonna have another great year next year.”
Where do most of the hotel guests travel from?
Guests come from as far as overseas and as near as Toronto. This week, however, there are many traveling from one particular state.
“Well, surprisingly, there’s a lot of people coming from California,” Shorrock said. “Who would have thunk, right? But lots of Canadians, lots from out West, East, even locals book here knowing about this little gem that we have here right in the city. People that weren’t able to get a ticket for the game, or it was $5,000, $7,000 a ticket, they can bring five friends into the room and split that cost. So, we’ve had locals, as well.”
What will the hotel rooms look like if the Blue Jays win the World Series in Toronto?
“I’m sure they’ll be spick-and-span,” Shorrock said with a laugh. “No, we want people to come here and have a fabulous time. We just don’t want it to go past five people. We have lots of staff on board, everybody’s ready, everybody’s excited. We know it’s gonna be super, super exciting. They can order room service and just have a fabulous time. But it’s gonna be a great, great run.”
