A Boca Raton home in the gated St. Andrews Country Club neighborhood topped luxury contracts in Palm Beach County last week.
Buyers signed 10 contracts between Oct. 6 and Oct. 12 for luxury properties in Palm Beach County, according to a market report from Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team. The homes that went pending last week total $47.6 million in asking dollar volume and averaged 263 days on the market.
The previous week, buyers signed 19 contracts totaling $71.5 million in asking dollar volume.
The team’s report tracks signed contracts for single-family homes and condos asking $3 million or more in the Beaches MLS. It identified 49 new listings, and a total of 1,065 active listings on the market.
Of the properties that found buyers last week, nine were single-family homes and one was a condo. The condo that went pending is asking $6.5 million, or $2,311 per square foot, and spent 541 days on the market.
The single-family homes total $41.1 million in asking dollar volume and averaged 91 days on the market. The average asking price works out to $4.6 million.
The top listing to find a buyer last week was the 7,600-square-foot house at 17153 Ericarose Court in Boca Raton asking $9.5 million. Records show the owner is David Kreiss, the president of Palm Beach Gardens-based KM2 Solutions, a firm that specializes in outsourcing customer relationship management services. He bought the home, which is in the gated St. Andrews Country Club community, for $4.7 million in 2020, according to property records. It was built in 1988 on 0.9 acres and has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a pool, records show.
Kreiss listed it in September, Zillow shows. Jeannine Patricia Morris and Blake Benjamin Morris with Lang Realty have the listing.
The second-most expensive home to go pending was unit A2 at One Royal Palm Way at 100 Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach, asking $6.5 million. Records show the seller is the trust of the late Elizabeth Bowden, who bought the unit with her late husband Charles W. Bowden Jr. for $600,000 in 1994. He was a real estate developer in the Philadelphia area, according to his obituary. The unit spans 2,810 square feet, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, records show.
It hit the market for $9.3 million in 2023, Zillow shows. Dana and Paulette Koch with the Corcoran Group have the listing.
