Taylor Swift returns to Arrowhead Stadium for Chiefs vs. Lions after album release

A showgirl is never too busy to support her beau.

After a booming album release week, Taylor Swift made an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday night to cheer on her fiancé and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The Chiefs defeated the Detroit Lions 30-17.

It was Swift’s first public NFL appearance all season — while she was in attendance to watch the Chiefs play the Philadelphia Eagles Sept. 14 and the Baltimore Ravens Sept. 28, she was not publicly visible nor shown on the NFL broadcast.

Swift was joined by the Kelce family, as well as WNBA star Caitlin Clark.

The singer-songwriter has had quite a busy month so far. Her chart-topping 12th album “The Life of a Showgirl” debuted Oct. 3, along with a single-weekend-run movie to accompany the album, which brought in $33 million in North American box offices.

Taylor Swift talks about releasing her album “The Life of a Showgirl,” Travis Kelce trying to distract her from his surprise proposal and why she’s not performing at the Super Bowl.

Swift followed the album release with several radio and late-night television appearances, including stops at “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” where she addressed rumors that she had turned down the Super Bowl LX halftime show over performance footage rights.

“I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field. That is violent chess,” Swift said.

“The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field,” she continued. “Can you imagine if he was out there every single week, putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be?’”

While Swifties wait for the day she might change her mind, the artist seems to be set on cheering her fiancé on from the sidelines.

Travis Kelce may have played in 4 Super Bowl games, but proposing to Taylor Swift still made him nervous.
