Five teenagers were taken to a local hospital after an active situation at Pinecrest Glades Academy Friday morning, Miami-Dade officials say.
Officials didn’t say the conditions of the teenagers or why they went to the hospital. The teenagers are ages 14-16.
Pinecrest Glades Academy is located at 15250 SW 8th St in Miami.
Chopper 4 was over the scene around 11 a.m., where several first responders were present outside the school.
Pinecrest Glades Academy has students in grades K-12.
