Julia Fox is no longer anyone else’s muse.
The “Uncut Gems” actress reflected on the cosmetic surgeries she’s previously undergone — including liposuction, a rhinoplasty and veneers — and how she feels about them now, sharing that she sometimes regrets the reasons she got them done.
“When I see someone and I can tell they’ve never done anything,” Fox told Allure in an interview published Aug. 19, “I wish I could go back and be that person. I was so hung up on this idea that I needed to be attractive to men so that I could survive.”
But thanks to her self-reflections, the 35-year-old — who revealed she started getting Botox and fillers around the age of 21 — is confident that she doesn’t “have to entertain men anymore.” Still, she admitted, “I probably will [get more work done one day], but I’m just not as concerned with it right now.”
Plus, the fashion pioneer wants to avoid falling into the trap of needing “to stay young and hot.”

“Am I going to chase the way I used to look, or am I going to evolve and see what’s on the other side?” Fox continued. “It could be something totally different, and I’m choosing to go that way. I just want to see who’s there waiting for me.”
She added, “It’ll definitely be uncomfortable, but I think I’m ready for it.”
Meanwhile, Fox — who shares son Valentino, 4, with ex-husband Peter Artemiev — has evolved her mindset about men and their approval in other ways, too.
“The way my life is, I can’t see why a man would be beneficial,” she explained, referencing her pansexuality. “I’m laser-focused on being a good mom, on being a good provider, on making my dreams come true.”
The actress — who briefly dated Kanye “Ye” West in 2022 — added, “There’s just so much more you can do with your time than waiting around to see if a guy’s going to text you back or not.”
