Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail have a new little one in their brood.

The “Dying For Sex” star and her husband of four years welcomed their third baby together via surrogate, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum confirmed. The duo also share Hart, 5, as well as a baby born in 2022, and coparent 18-year-old Matilda, Williams’ daughter with late partner Heath Ledger.

After months of speculation, Williams confirmed to pal Tiffany Haddish she had welcomed her fourth child, a baby girl, and gave a special shoutout to her surrogate.

“I’ve got to give a big shoutout to Christine,” Williams said during an Aug. 18 appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” during which Haddish was the guest host. “Because this last baby did not come through my body, but the miracle of our little girl is thanks to Christine.”

Williams went on to detail how she and her husband are handling three children under 5 at home.

“It’s good,” she continued. “It’s just really busy and I’m trying to figure out the work-life balance. I hear that a lot of people are talking about self care and I’m just wondering, ‘When?’ Because I’m the working mom and I already have the guilt and I don’t want to take more time away from them. But I understand that I need to fill up the tank.”

As for how she’s filling up her cup? Williams joked she’s been spending a lot of time at the social security offices, noting that you get to wait for an hour in “complete silence.” As she joked, “I have it all figured out.”

Of course, Williams and Kail’s happy news arrives amid a busy time for the 44-year-old, as it comes after the “Dying for Sex” premiere — Williams’ first project since “The Fabelmans” in 2022. The series, which hit Hulu in April, follows a woman who leaves her husband of 15-years to pursue hot sex after a terminal cancer diagnosis.

Naturally, the plot gave Williams a bit of a pause, especially as a mom of now-four.

“I’m going to go do a show about what?” she recalled thinking to New York magazine in an article published March 24. “It wasn’t necessarily the thing that I saw myself doing. I’m a mom. I got all these kids.”

Still, Williams noted that it was precisely the subject matter that made the role — which took her from New York to Los Angeles to shoot — worth temporarily leaving her kids.

“When you have small children, you become thoughtful about the time you spend away from them,” she added. “And so I don’t work a ton, but I still want to work.”

It helped, too, that Williams’ teenager was keen on her mother doing the role. As she put it, “To go make a show about sex and death with so many unknown elements, you really do need the support of your home team to say, ‘Go, Mom, go.’”

And Williams has previously opened up on balancing her love with acting with her love for her children, telling Entertainment Weekly in 2023 that it can at times feel “untenable.”

“My heart obviously belongs to my children; they tug at it the most,” she explained. “But I really want to be able to have both. And I think that it requires deep thought and learning and the support of other women to figure out how to get through it.”
