A woman who formerly was a member of the famed vocal group The Platters was located after she went missing for days in Brooklyn, according to police and her daughter.
Sandra Hall went missing after 4 p.m. Friday in the vicinity of the Atlantic Terminal Mall, near Barclays Center, according to police.
Police said Wednesday afternoon that Hall had been located, but did not provide an update on her condition.
“Sandra is more than just our mother; she is a warm, vibrant woman who once brought joy to audiences as part of The Platters. We just want to bring her home safely,” her daughter Star DaSilva said.
The Platters were initially formed in 1952 and are most famously known for their hits “The Great Pretender” and “Only You.” Hall, who went by the stage name Sandra Dawn, was not part of the original lineup, but joined the group in 1965.
Anyone with information regarding Hall is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or submit their tips on the CrimeStoppers website.
