Two homes in Boca Raton’s most expensive neighborhood, Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, topped signed contracts in Palm Beach County last week.
Buyers signed 10 contracts between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10 for luxury properties in Palm Beach County, according to a market report from Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team. The homes that went pending last week totaled $71.5 million in asking volume and averaged 78 days on market. That’s down from $78 million in asking volume for nine homes the previous week.
The team’s report tracks signed contracts for single-family homes and condos asking $3 million or more in the Beaches MLS. It identified 37 new listings, and a total of 1,017 active listings on the market.
Nine single-family homes and one condo went into contract last week. The condo that found a buyer is asking $3.4 million, or $1,158 per square foot, and spent 105 days on market.
The single-family homes totaled $68. 1 million in asking volume and averaged 51 days on the market. The average asking price works out to $7.6 million.
The most expensive listing to find a buyer last week is the 9,000-square-foot mansion at 311 East Key Palm Road in Boca Raton’s Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, asking $17.8 million. Records show the seller is Derek Ettinger, who bought the home for $12 million in 2021. The waterfront mansion was built on half an acre in 2015 and has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a pool and a dock, according to records.
It hit the market for $17.8 million in February, Zillow shows. David Roberts with Royal Palm Properties has the listing.
The second priciest home to go pending was another Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club home. The 7,200-square-foot house at 2498 Queen Palm Road is asking $12.5 million. Records show the seller is a land trust that bought the 0.4-acre property for $9.1 million in 2022. The six-bedroom house was completed last year and has eight bathrooms, one half-bathroom and a pool, the listing shows.
It hit the market for $14 million in December and the price dropped to $12.5 million in May, according to Zillow. Marcy Javor with Signature One Luxury Estates has the listing.
