Taylor Swift’s new era is loading…
Indeed, the pop superstar has fans convinced that her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who she began dating in September 2023, will feature her as the next special guest on his New Heights podcast — and that he may be playing a special role in ushering in her new musical era.
Why? Well, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end teased an upcoming episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s podcast by sharing on X that they’re “coming back with a VERY special guest.”
While the promotional image features a silhouette of what seems to be a female with long hair, it was Jason’s T-shirt that really grabbed fans’ attention. After all, he was wearing none other than Swift’s merch.
A few especially hawk-eyed fans also noticed that, while the background of the teaser is usually yellow, it was orange for this specific announcement.
And since the “Cruel Summer” singer is quite famous for dropping inconspicuous Easter eggs, fans’ excitement has only been heightened by Taylor Nation’s most recent post on X.

Alongside several photos of the 35-year-old wearing orange outfits during her Eras Tour — which ended last December — the caption read, “Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era…’”
So, of course, Swifties could only assume that the “All Too Well” singer has been preparing to usher in a new orange-themed era — with a new album to go with it.
“Don’t be suspicious, don’t be suspicious,” one user quipped on X, referencing the seemingly obvious Easter eggs, while another added, “Is Taylor Swift really going to announce TS12 on New Heights on Wednesday I’m f–king gagged.”
In addition to suspecting that a new album is on the way, some fans are also theorizing that Sabrina Carpenter — who opened for Swift during the Latin American leg of her 21-month-long tour — will be featured on the new project. After all, Taylor Nation featured a photo of the “Espresso” singer on the last slide of the Instagram carousel teasing her next era.
And since Swift seems to never stop plotting and scheming, this hasn’t been the first time fans thought she was teasing her twelfth album. After she announced she had purchased the master recordings for her six original albums — nearly six years after they were sold to Scooter Braun in 2019 — her fans noticed exactly 12 “i”s in her spelling of “this” in her open letter.
“I’m trying to gather my thoughts into something coherent, but right now my mind is a slideshow,” Swift wrote on her website at the time. “A flashback sequence of all the times I daydreamed about, wished for, and pined away for the chance to get to tell you this news. All the times I was thiiiiiiiiiiiis close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through.”
