Burglary crew suspects arrested in break-in at LA home of actor Brad Pitt

2 men believed to be part of a burglary crew that’s hit several homes around Southern California were arrested last week and are suspected of taking part in the break-in earlier this summer at the Los Angeles home of actor Brad Pitt, the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates.

Pitt’s home in the LA community of Los Feliz was broken into June 26 while he was on a promotional tour for the film “F1.” The burglars are believed to have climbed over the front fence before breaking a window and ransacking the residence.

They left with property, but details about the items were not available.

The LAPD said detectives identified suspects during the investigation, which included security camera video and other evidence.

On Thursday night, police arrested members of the suspected burglary crew after they allegedly targeted another residence in Orange County, the officials said.

The men were charged Monday with first-degree burglary and a sentencing enhancement for allegedly committing the act in concert with another person.

Jaquory Arman Watson and Damari Zair Charles, both 18, pleaded not guilty and were being held without bail, according to Orange County court records.

Charges related to the Pitt burglary were expected in the coming days, the sources said.

The LAPD confirmed a Los Feliz home was burglarized Wednesday night. Investigative Reporter Eric Leonard reports for the NBC4 News at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Other law enforcement officials said it did not appear the crew was specifically targeting celebrities. Break-ins involving the crew were reported at other houses with non-famous occupants, the sources said.

The Pitt burglary was among several recent break-ins and other crimes at homes owned by celebrities in Los Angeles.

The home of actress Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban was burglarized on Valentines Day after the residence of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson in the Pacific Palisades was broken into last August.

Jennifer Aniston, the former wife of Pitt, was targeted in a crime in May when a man allegedly rammed his car through the front gates of the actress’s Bel Air home.

In July, an attempted burglary was reported at the Hollywood Hills home of Dodgers pitching phenom Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Break-ins were reported at the homes of Dodgers infielders Max Muncy and Freddie Freeman in 2023. A burglary was reported at the Los Angeles home of LAFC striker Olivier Giroud in February.
