Ideal Nutrition | Fort Lauderdale
Ideal Nutrition opened a store in downtown Fort Lauderdale, as part of its statewide expansion.
The healthy meal delivery service leased 1,300 square feet on the ground floor of Coasterra Apartments at 150 Southeast Third Avenue, according to a news release from the tenant’s broker.
Scott Weprin of Colliers represented Ideal Nutrition, and Jonathan Rosen of JLL represented the landlord.
San Diego, California-based Fairfield Residential completed the 242-unit Coasterra apartment tower last year with about 9,500 square feet of restaurant and retail space.
Led by Wolfgang Brunet, Ideal Nutrition also leased a 43,200-square-foot warehouse at the Prologis Airport Center at 6017-6059 Southern Boulevard in unincorporated Palm Beach County in April. It also has South Florida stores in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton, downtown Miami and Wellington, the release says. It plans to expand to Miramar and Boynton Beach.
Barberi International | Doral
Bridge International scored a tenant at the industrial campus it’s developing in Doral.
Barberi International, an importer and distributor of Latin American snacks, preleased 32,500 square feet at building 1 at Bridge Point Doral at 3600 Northwest 107th Avenue, according to the landlord’s news release. Barberi will consolidate its two South Florida outposts at Building 1.
Wayne Ramoski is part of the Cushman & Wakefield team that represented the landlord, and Nicolas Palazzo, also of Cushman, represented the tenant.
Chicago-based Bridge is developing the 2.6 million-square-foot Bridge Point Doral on a 175-acre site, the release says. The first phase, consisting of five buildings, is expected to be completed by year-end, and the second phase, consisting of two buildings, is expected to be completed next year.
On a 10-acre lot within Bridge Point Doral, SJC Ventures and Nuveen Real Estate are developing the Whole Foods-anchored Doral Marketplace retail center. The pair bought the development site for $32 million last year from Bridge.
Bridge, led by Steve Poulos, with Kevin Carroll leading the Southeast Region, has a portfolio of about 11 million square feet of industrial space in South Florida, including completed and under construction.
American Thrift Stores | Hialeah
American Thrift Stores is expanding to Hialeah.
The retail thrift store chain leased 32,900 square feet at 520 West 49th Street, according to a news release from the tenant’s broker.
Scott Witkowski and Chris Haass of Cohen Commercial Realty represented American Thrift.
Records show the shopping center where American Thrift leased is owned by an affiliate of Great Neck, New York-based Philips International.
