In the latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news, Marcus & Millichap added a commercial finance specialist to its ranks.
Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation added Max Beyderman as a senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office, according to a press release. Beyderman will focus on commercial debt and equity financing across asset classes. Beyderman spent the last year self-employed as a commercial finance specialist, according to LinkedIn. Previously, he was a managing director of Meridian Capital Group from 2006 to 2024.
Thomas Burkett joined Miami-based Origin Construction as chief financial officer, according to LinkedIn. Burkett was previously chief financial officer at Butters Group for a five month stint, according to LinkedIn. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development for almost four years.
Brown Harris Stevens added agents in Miami-Dade County, according to a press release. Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini are agents joining the Miami Beach office. Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales are joining the brokerage in its South Miami office.
In May, Brown Harris Stevens brought David Deza in as managing director of the office. He has been leading recruitment efforts for the firm’s Miami offices since then.
