Ariana Grande is adding a little sweetener to a young fan’s day.
9-year-old influencer Brielle Bird, who has documented her battle with stage 4 cancer on social media, showed off the heartfelt gifts the Wicked star sent to her—and her reaction is Wicked-ly adorable.
“Today’s package is the best one yet. It’s from my favorite person in the whole wide world, Ariana Grande,” Brie explained in her August 7 Instagram video, which sees her wearing a Glinda-inspired pink dress. “She sent me two packages, and I am so excited to open them.”
True to her role as the Good Witch, Ariana, 32, filled the care package with nods to Wicked. Brielle opened the box and revealed the gifts: a pink tumbler and six Squishmallows, which featured plushies of the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, Elphaba, the Wizard of Oz, the Scarecrow, and fittingly, Glinda.

“It’s the Wicked Witch of the West, but it’s Elphaba,” Brie noted while holding the green toy, who’s portrayed by Cynthia Erivo in the 2024 film and its upcoming sequel Wicked: For Good. “She’s pretty kind in the movie. The wizard? He is not smart. He wants to stop animals from talking, and I think that’s crazy.”
That wasn’t the end of her thrillifying package, as Brie also received a bunny stuffed toy dressed in Glinda’s costume, a box of nail polish, a green note from “the land of Oz,” two makeup bags, a bottle of Ariana’s Cloud perfume, and several products from the singer’s r.e.m. beauty brand.
But the most touching gift of them all? A personal video message from the “Eternal Sunshine” singer.
“Hi Brie! It’s Ariana,” she began the brief clip. “Your mom told me that you are a fan of Wicked and of Glinda’s, so I was inspired to put together this little care package for you. I hope you love it. My personal favorite part is the Squishmallows—they’re very comfy and cute.”
She then complimented Brie as “the most amazing, most inspiring little light beam in this universe.”
“You’re just incredible,” she continued. “Thank you for being you and I’m sending you so much love and many, many, many virtual hugs.”
