Zac Brown is adding a new piece of jewelry to Kendra Scott’s collection.
Nearly two months after the jewelry designer and the Zac Brown Band frontman debuted their romance at the 2025 American Music Awards, the couple shared that they are engaged.
“We are so happy and grateful,” Scott, 51, and Brown, 46, told People shortly after the Grammy winner popped the question, “that we found each other.”
And while they posed for photos in front of a stunning sunset, the jewelry mogul couldn’t help but show off her dazzling pink diamond on that finger.
The pair hard-launched their relationship just two months ago on the American Music Awards red carpet — and they weren’t shy about cozying up to the cameras.
“Hit the @amas with the best date by my side,” Brown captioned his Instagram post moments after stepping off the carpet. “Ready to soak it all in and have some fun tonight!”

Soon after, Scott — who shares sons Cade, 23, and Beck, 21, with ex-husband John Scott as well as son Grey, 11, with ex-husband Matt Davis — penned a social media post of her own.
“What an unforgettable night at the @amas,” she wrote on Instagram that same day. “We danced, we laughed, and seeing Zac honored with the inaugural Veteran’s Voice Award was the highlight of it all.”
“@zacbrown, I’m so incredibly proud of you—of your heart, your service, and the man you are,” she added. “You couldn’t deserve this more.”
For Brown, this milestone comes less than two years after his complicated breakup with Kelly Yazdi, following only four months of marriage in 2023.
“We are in the process of divorce,” they announced with a joint statement to Billboard at the time. “Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”
And while the two insisted that their relationship ended amicably at the time, the “Chicken Fried” singer — who shares kids Justice, 18, Lucy, 17, Georgia, 16, Joni, 14, and Alexander, 11, with ex-wife Shelly Brown — later filed an emergency temporary restraining order demanding that Yazdi take down an Instagram post that he argued tarnished his public image.
In response, Yazdi rebuked the lawsuit and defended herself with a scathing social media message.
“No one — not even Zac Brown with all of his money, power, celebrity, and lawyers,” she captioned a May 19 TikTok video, “may silence my right to freely express myself through art or, although I have to date declined to do so publicly, to speak about the circumstances of our pending divorce.”
