Kanner & Pintaluga | Boca Raton
A personal injury and property damage law firm will move its headquarters to BH Group and Pebb Enterprises’ mixed-use project at Home Depot’s office campus in Boca Raton.
Kanner & Pintaluga leased 77,700 square feet at the north office tower at 6600 North Military Trail, according to a BH Group and Pebb Enterprises news release. The office will occupy the entire second and fifth floors of the building, as well as a portion of the first level.
Kanner & Pintaluga, founded in 2003 and with nearly 100 attorneys nationwide, now has its headquarters at 925 South Federal Highway in Boca Raton.
The law firm will move to its new office in June of next year, said Carlyle Coffin of Stream Realty Partners. Kanner’s new office is about 5,000 square feet larger than its existing one.
Coffin, along with Greg Katz and Shay Pope, also of Stream, represented Kanner. Joe Freitas and John Criddle of CBRE represented the landlords.
The Toledano family’s Aventura-based BH Group and Boca Raton-based Pebb are redeveloping the 29-acre 6600 North Military Trail site by renovating two of the three existing office buildings and replacing the third with an eight-story, 500-unit apartment building. Pebb is led by Ian Weiner. The Pérez family’s Coconut Grove Related Group is a partner in the multifamily project.
Construction of the apartment building has not started yet, and most of the major office renovation is completed, according to a Pebb spokesperson.
Previously commonly known as the Home Depot headquarters, the developers rechristened the development The Eclipse.
The project also will include 43,000 square feet of retail and dining space in four new buildings on outparcels and a 37,000-square-foot fitness space leased to Equinox. Others that have leased offices at The Eclipse include renewable energy company MN8 Energy, which leased 20,400 square feet; fast-casual restaurant I Heart Mac & Cheese, which leased 7,100 square feet; and development firm Atlantic Pacific Companies, which leased 5,500 square feet.
ODP Corporation, Home Depot’s parent company, sold the property to BH and Pebb for $104 million in 2023. ODP kept its headquarters at the campus, consolidating its offices in the 214,700-square-foot central tower.
