Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume dropped in the last week of June.
Brokers closed 65 condo sales totaling $21.2 million from June 23 to June 29. That’s down from 120 condo sales totaling $35.2 million the previous week.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $326,772, higher than the $293,057 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $264 from $252, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $520,000 to $2.2 million.
Unit 1003 at Europa by the Sea, at 1460 South Ocean Boulevard in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, took the top spot with a $2.2 million closing. The sale closed at $624 per square foot after 111 days on market.
Marc Brandt and Jeffery Kotwica with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Gilles Rais with Coldwell Banker Realty brought the buyer.
Unit 504 at La Rive, at 715 Bayshore Drive in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $1.1 million, or $410 per square foot after 71 days on market.
Alicia Levitan with Keller Williams Realty had the listing, and Martine Dreyfus with EXP Realty brought the buyer.
